The Visionary

Here are a few things you want to know about your Video Creator Type LFOC, The Visionary:

  • LFOC is an acronym for Long Form (LF) and Off Camera (OC)

  • Long form means videos longer than 5 minutes

  • Off camera means you prefer someone or something other than yourself to be the focus of the video

  • A visionary tends to see the big picture, envisions the outcome along with all the details in between. This often times requires you to take a step backwards so you can see and monitor progress until your vision comes to life.

Characteristics of a Visionary might be:

  1. 360 Perspective: You enjoy taking an idea and finding all the different ways to present information from idea to publish and everything in between.

  2. Process Driven: You enjoy having a list of action items needed to create each video, assign responsibility and deadlines and adhere to the steps to ensure a timely delivery.

  3. Creative: This is an area you excel as it involves new and fresh ideas for videos based on trends, analytics, user preferences and how to take a video to the next level to get more people to see, engage and comment on videos.

What IS a 'Long Form' video?

  • These videos are landscape with dimensions that are wider than tall, 1920 x 1080 using YouTube dimensions.

  • Since the focus of long-form videos is on the duration, dimensions and platforms, the people can be on-camera or off-camera. The Visionary LFOC is off-camera.
