The Power of Video is Undeniable

The power of video is undeniable.

Video content has been shown to have a whopping 2x higher engagement rate than other social media posts because people love videos so much! It's also one of the most popular methods for consumers researching products online then buying those products later as a result of watching the video.

Did you know…the human brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text?

Imagine how important video is in a world where our attention span is shorter than a goldfish.

Now imagine how much higher your content might convert if you incorporate video into your marketing efforts.

When was the last time you watched a YouTube video over reading a blog post (this one excluded, obviously). Or watched a video on Facebook versus reading a long text post. Or you chose clicking on Instagram Reels over your Twitter feed.

Is there better content shared in videos? Not really. You can get the exact same message across in a text post that you can in a video.

So why do you and most others choose video over other non-video options? Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s most likely because of the visual appeal, entertainment value and engagement opportunities. Not to mention you can obtain more of the non-verbal messaging through a person’s body language, voice inflection and even the background images when you’re watching a video. If you can gain more in less time, wouldn’t you do the same?

Of course you would! Most of us claim we don’t have enough time for the reason we aren’t doing something. Video communicates more in less time then what’s holding you back from creating videos for your business?

If you’re thinking “I don’t want to be on camera because my peers will judge me.” or “I have no idea where to begin creating videos.” or “Don’t you need a bunch of fancy equipment and a camera crew to create video content?” then know this: you are not alone.

These are 3 of the top reasons why most small business owners don’t have a video content plan in place.

The good news is - you’re not alone!

And you’re in the right place at the right time.
